APCOM extrudes cross-linked polyethylene (PEX), polypropylene, and polysulfone for dip tubes and pipe nipple assemblies. Because PEX is a compound that crosslinks when exposed to moisture, it provides enhanced resistance to heat distortion, environmental stress cracking, creep and abrasion. Additionally, life-extending antioxidants are less likely to be washed out of the polymer by flowing water.
